The holidays are fast approaching as I write this and I know people are worrying about their budgets for holiday gifts. Here's a way to give a great gift without breaking the bank. Got 2 bucks?

At this website you can buy gift certificates which can be used at restaurants around the country. You can buy these gift certificates at discounts of 40% or more.
You can get a $25 gift certificate for $10
A $50 for $20
A $75 for $30
A $100 for $40
Today I received an email from them with this offer...
Until Oct 12th you can get $25 gift certificates for $2. These are a legitimate gift with a real value of $25. (if you are reading this AFTER Oct 12 be sure to go and sign up at Restaurant.com and you'll get offers like this frequently)
There are some restrictions on the gift certificates but they are not bad.
Typically, the discount applies only to FOOD not drinks. You have to buy a minimum. You'd have to buy $35 worth of food with the $25 gift certificate for example.
They add a gratuity, usually 18% before the discount, you have to use it in the dining room and only one certificate per party.
Not too bad.
The certificates are delivered in one of two ways. You can print it up and present to the recipient (or keep yourself) or you can send it in an email to the recipient.
The process of buying and handling these could not be easier. I made a quick video showing you the process.
This is only good for U.S. restaurants at this point.

A great way to save $23 on a nice meal and/or to give a low cost gift. Like Leo says, watch the details. Can’t use more than one certificate at a meal and restaurants have different limits. But, heck, $23, is a nice savings.
