Best of 2012…
It's become a fun tradition here at Leo Inc. to ask my readers the best thing they did in the previous year.
This year I switched it up a bit and asked them to tell me their "best" in any category from 2012.
Here are some of the responses...
I am always glad to hear from you. Especially because of the thoughtful energy you put into inspiring others to be their best and keep the momentum going.
This year, after a few rewrites,I was glad get a comedy script finished, ready to move forward with it. Starred in a cough syrup commercial – ironically was told I got the job while I was really sick with a cold.
Joined a gym and stuck with the program ( three months and going).
Spent quality time with family and friends including travelling to get in some visits.
While this year could have been more financially comfortable, and my father in law passed away, we managed to balance our stresses by channeling our energies in positive directions for health and quality rewards. Happily, December was a great month giving a boost for the best in 2013.
Wishing you a great New Year.
Best Memory: Sad, but being by my dad's side in the ICU as he recovered from bypass surgery. We weren't sure he was going to make it or not, but he did and is slowly recovering. He had lots of complications, including cancer. We were able to spend time as a family with my parents in Chicago this Christmas. We have a family tradition that the brothers always come home for Christmas to spend time with my parents, and I haven't broken that streak for 42 years! Praise The Lord!
Best movie I saw: The Hobbit
Best thing I did: Reprioritize spending and revamp finances
Best memory: Seeing my loved one make it to the top of a mountain (metaphorically)
The underlying theme: Overcoming the obstacles to achieve a worthy goal!!!!
Happy New Year to all!!!!
The best movie was very close. I love Batman Rising with The Avengers right behind it.
The best thing I did was start taking classes on accounting/quickbooks. Second started a writing journel to make me write. I am over 50,000 words this year.
Too many to really pick one. My trip to Florida with my wife and two grandson. Having a teenager in a car for two days you really get to talk.
Have a great 2013, (I know I am going to!)

I read the book “George Washington Spymaster” it was a great short book that I downloaded. It gives us the insight on how George Washington helped us to win the Revolutionary War. It was the United States first spy agency. It is a good book.

Best memory: Going to Fairbanks, AK last January when it was -52 deg F. Yes, that’s 52 degrees BELOW zero. Yikes! To top that we went into the hot springs at a local resort – probably 90 + degrees. The walk (no running as the ground was an ice sheet) from the hot springs back to the building was probably 15 yards. Wow. An outside body temperature change of over 140 degrees is not soon forgotten. 😉
Thanks for the messages Leo, Happy New Year!
