Best of 2012…

by Leo on January 2, 2013

It's become a fun tradition here at Leo Inc. to ask my readers the best thing they did in the previous year.

This year I switched it up a bit and asked them to tell me their "best" in any category from 2012.

Here are some of the responses...

The best thing I´ve done this year is to get rid of my overweight! It was 18 kilos (38,6 Lbs).

I have also started to ride again and it´s so fun. I ride several horses every week and learn a lot.

I have also been enjoying to get better health and don´t have as much anxiety as I used to have. I believe it´s because I do medicine yoga (mediyoga) and soon I will not need any medicine. (That´s absolutely amazing when I see it in print.)

The best thing I did in 2012 was to take one of your suggestions about
the FBA program. Selling on Amazon. I am doing it now and had an enjoyable year doing this. From the sourcing, listing, shipping and watching what people buy, has been an incredible learning experience. Saturdays during the warmer season my wife goes with me as well and we make a day of it. She enjoy's the ride if not so much the buying. We are out there together and that's what is important. Doing FBA has been fun and can be basically done at any age, 18-?. I just started and I am 70. Thank you Leo for making me aware of FBA and keep up the good work.

I am always glad to hear from you. Especially because of the thoughtful energy you put into inspiring others to be their best and keep the momentum going.

This year, after a few rewrites,I was glad get a comedy script finished, ready to move forward with it. Starred in a cough syrup commercial – ironically was told I got the job while I was really sick with a cold.

Joined a gym and stuck with the program ( three months and going).

Spent quality time with family and friends including travelling to get in some visits.

While this year could have been more financially comfortable, and my father in law passed away, we managed to balance our stresses by channeling our energies in positive directions for health and quality rewards. Happily, December was a great month giving a boost for the best in 2013.

Wishing you a great New Year.

Best book - Your Soul's Plan by Robert Schwartz
Best movie - The Razor's Edge (The Tyrone Power 1946 version on Youtube)
Best thing - I let my little dog with cancer go to heaven because I didn't want him to suffer anymore

Best Movie: Seeing Pitch Perfect (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1981677/ ) with my daughter Marissa who loves to sing. We rarely get to go out just the 2 of us, and it was a pleasure taking her out on a date at 14 years old and that she still wants to spend time with me as a teenager.Best Thing: Spent New Years Eve with my family working the craft make/take area at http://FirstNightStl.org

Best Memory
: Sad, but being by my dad's side in the ICU as he recovered from bypass surgery. We weren't sure he was going to make it or not, but he did and is slowly recovering. He had lots of complications, including cancer. We were able to spend time as a family with my parents in Chicago this Christmas. We have a family tradition that the brothers always come home for Christmas to spend time with my parents, and I haven't broken that streak for 42 years! Praise The Lord!

The best movie was very close. I love Batman Rising with The Avengers right behind it.

The best thing I did was start taking classes on accounting/quickbooks. Second started a writing journel to make me write. I am over 50,000 words this year.

Too many to really pick one. My trip to Florida with my wife and two grandson. Having a teenager in a car for two days you really get to talk.

Have a great 2013, (I know I am going to!)

I read the book “George Washington Spymaster” it was a great short book that I downloaded. It gives us the insight on how George Washington helped us to win the Revolutionary War. It was the United States first spy agency. It is a good book.

Hi, Leo~

I think the best movie I saw was actually today "Parental Guidance" with Billy Crystal and Bette Midler. Awesome - no vulgar language, no violence, extremely funny.
The best thing I did this year was babysit my 3 year old grandson. Such a precious gift to be able to spend one-on-one time with him and see things through his eyes.
The best memory was Christmas morning when the three grandchildren came over and their little faces lit up when they saw the house all decorated and family all gathered together.

I want to say I am also proud of myself this year for paying down an extremely large loan that was not to be finished for five more years and to date I have 10 months left on it! Yay!!!

Working hard toward owning that paycheck again!

Thank you and wishing you a very Happy New Year to you and your family!!

Best memory: Going to Fairbanks, AK last January when it was -52 deg F. Yes, that’s 52 degrees BELOW zero. Yikes! To top that we went into the hot springs at a local resort – probably 90 + degrees. The walk (no running as the ground was an ice sheet) from the hot springs back to the building was probably 15 yards. Wow. An outside body temperature change of over 140 degrees is not soon forgotten. 😉

Thanks for the messages Leo, Happy New Year!
